Vehicle Signage

Cover Styl certified installer badge

Your vehicle is parked outside every job and driven past thousands of people a week. If it's unmarked, or the signage is peeling and out of date, that's a lot of free advertising going to waste.

Vehicle signage, from one ute to a full fleet

We design, print and fit vehicle signage for tradies, small businesses and fleets. Everything is done in-house at our North Melbourne workshop, so the person who designs your van talks to the person who fits it.

Types of vehicle signage

Full vehicle wraps

Printed film covering the whole vehicle, or close to it. A wrap gives you the most impact and can change the vehicle's colour entirely, and it protects the paint underneath.

Partial wraps

Printed graphics covering part of the vehicle, such as the rear half or the sides, blended into the vehicle's own colour. Most of the impact of a full wrap for less.

Cut vinyl lettering and logos

Your name, logo, phone number and website in cut vinyl. The most cost-effective option, and the right one for many tradies.

Printed spot graphics

Full-colour logos, photos and illustrations placed where they'll be seen.

Rear window and one-way vision graphics

Perforated film that shows your graphics from outside while you can still see out.

Fleet signage

The same layout across every vehicle, with discounted fleet pricing and records kept so a new vehicle matches the rest years later.

We sign cars, vans, utes, trucks, minibuses, trailers and food trucks. Something unusual? Ask us.

How it works

  1. Send us the details. Your vehicle's make, model and year, your logo, and what you want on it.
  2. See it first. We mock the design up on your vehicle so you can see it before anything is printed.
  3. Bring it in. Most single-vehicle jobs are fitted in one day at our North Melbourne workshop.
  4. Look after it. We'll give you care instructions so the signage lasts.

Before your vehicle comes in

Bring the vehicle in reasonably clean, with any damage already fixed. We give every vehicle a standard clean before fitting, but we don't repair paintwork, and a wrap won't hide chips, dents, scratches or rust. If your vehicle has old graphics, we can remove them, and we'll include that in your quote.

Vehicle wraps and graphics are covered by our 3-year warranty against fading, cracking and lifting.

Common questions

How much does vehicle signage cost?

It depends on the vehicle, how much of it is covered and the type of graphics. Cut vinyl lettering costs far less than a full wrap. Send us your vehicle details and logo and we'll quote.

How long does vehicle signage take?

As a guide, allow 2 to 3 weeks for wraps from design approval, and less for simple lettering. Most single vehicles are fitted in one day once printed.

Will a wrap damage my paint?

On factory paint in good condition, a quality wrap removes cleanly under normal conditions, within the lifespan of the material. Resprayed or repaired paintwork is a risk, because the film can lift the paint when it comes off, and it isn't covered by our warranty.

Can I wrap a leased vehicle?

Check with your leasing company first. Whether a leased vehicle can be wrapped, and how it needs to be returned, is up to them.

How do I look after vehicle signage?

Hand wash with mild detergent and a soft cloth. Avoid automatic brush car washes, and keep pressure washers away from the edges. Let us know early about any lifting edges.

Can you remove old signage from my vehicle?

Yes. Tell us about it when you ask for a quote and we'll include it. If we find graphics we weren't told about, removal is charged by the hour.
